Ceremony at Don Bosco Church
Reception at Kaya Restaurant
in Makati City
It was an intimate yet lively affair. The church wedding was a traditional Catholic ceremony. However, the reception that followed was typical Japanese - Karaoke style!
The program began with a cake cutting ceremony followed by a duet from the couple. During the reception, the couple sat while enjoying the guests' speeches and performances. Some guests are asked to do something at the reception. There was a dance number and many people sang their favorite songs. Our group sang the classic tune - Kanpai.
It was a feast with flowing beer and sake. Feeling a bit tipsy, I needed to freshen up at a nearby Starbucks before going home :-)
